As of mid January this year, over 3.5 million Windows machines have been infected with a worm nicknamed "Conficker". This includes hospitals, small businesses, corporations, home users--anyone using a Windows PC with XP or higher (including the Windows 7 beta). It spreads on networks with low security passwords, out of date anti-malware, systems without the latest Windows security updates, and unsecured share folders. If your PC is acting odd, your network is unusually slow, or you don't have permission to do things you should, call us. To fight the Conficker worm infection, make your login password to Windows have at least 8 characters, lowercase and uppercase, and at least 1 number or symbol. Secure your shared folders, get an anti-malware (and keep it up to date), and make sure to get Windows updates.
